"Natures Valley was the inspiration for me to do this painting. This place is simply magical to me. Every mountain has its own path, although it may not be seen from the valley. Just as every person has his own challenges, but also beauty, joy, there is something special about everyone, you just don't know their story yet.
John Muir has a beautiful quote that adds to the atmosphere and feeling I want to portray in this painting: "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." - Jadri Barnard
